Notice to Pet Owners

DOGS AND CATS: We continue to receive numerous complaints from community residents regarding dogs and cats that are allowed to roam free. Baltimore County Code requires that:

• All dogs and cats must be leashed when off the owner’s property;

• Owners are responsible for timely removal of pet waste on public and private property including their own property; and

• Dogs may not be allowed to bark excessively.

Residents who are concerned about violations should contact the County Animal Control Office at 410-887-5961.

Parents: Children have been observed walking dogs without any obvious bags or scoops.  Teach them to do the right thing.
